Using the service
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 9 August 2026
These terms govern use of the free QuoteGuardian beta. By using the site, you agree to use it responsibly and understand the limitations below.
About QuoteGuardian
QuoteGuardian is a UK-based independent household decision-support service operated by Peter Flynn, sole trader, at 26 The Beeches, Rugeley, Staffordshire, England WS15 2QY. Enquiries can be sent to info@quoteguardian.co.uk.
The current service
The free beta helps users organise household and quotation information, identify missing details, run broad screening calculations and prepare questions for an installer or supplier. Features may change as the service develops.
Decision-support limitations
Results are based solely on the information entered and general screening assumptions. They are not a property survey, technical design, valuation, installer verification, financial recommendation, legal opinion, warranty, guarantee or prediction of actual performance or savings.
You remain responsible for checking source documents, obtaining written answers, independently verifying credentials and taking appropriate financial, legal, engineering or other professional advice before signing, paying or relying on a result.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate, lawful information and review outputs for errors.
- Do not enter another person’s confidential or personal information without authority.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, overload or misuse the service.
- Do not present a QuoteGuardian assessment as certification, approval or a guaranteed outcome.
Intellectual property
The QuoteGuardian name, design, original text, assessment structure and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may print or save an action pack for your own household use. You may not reproduce, sell, scrape or commercially exploit substantial parts of the service without written permission. Third-party names and material remain the property of their respective owners.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend, change or withdraw beta features for security, maintenance, legal or product reasons.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, QuoteGuardian is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate user inputs, third-party claims, installer conduct, decisions made without appropriate verification, or events outside reasonable control. Any limitation will be applied only to the extent permitted by UK law.
Third-party links
Links to other sites are provided for context. Their content, availability and privacy practices are controlled by their respective operators. A link does not amount to an endorsement of every statement, product or service on that site.
Paid services
No paid QuoteGuardian service is currently available through this site. The proposed £39 Buyer’s Report remains marked Coming soon. Its pre-contract information explains the supplier, planned total price, service, delivery controls, cancellation rights, refunds and complaints process. Stripe checkout will not be activated until payment and report delivery work reliably.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers retain any mandatory protections and rights to bring proceedings available in their place of residence. Use the contact and support form or email info@quoteguardian.co.uk with a question or complaint. Keep the issued support reference in future correspondence.
